'My Poetry' by Bithi

Hello Readers

Happy World Poetry Day 2018.

Here is a poem written by me.

Don’t call me a poet.
That title I don’t want.
I just want to give words
To the feelings that beat in our heart.
I just want to fill the words with emotions
So that they come to life.
I just want to word a hopeful world
We’ve dreamed of, but never seen.
I just want to word this painful world
We all see, but never acknowledge.
I just want to give the words
Meanings that they’ve never had.
So, please, don’t call me a poet.
Because, my poetry is what I am.
