If I forget my name,
Sing the songs I have written.
Name is for this mortal coil
And the songs carry my soul.
Call me by my songs
And I will hear your voice.
When I cannot remember
Me and you all.

'Save a Life' by Bithi
However unbelievable
Something sounds,
Please, try to believe.
Not everyone cries wolf,
Some cries are real.
Lend a hand if you can.
It might save a life.
When people pass away,
Their stories are distorted
To fit the lives
Of the livings.
Not everyone, who quits,
Is a coward.
It is tiresome to fight
All the time
Against the world
Alone.

'No One Helped' by Bithi
Everyone heard my cries for help.
The sky cried with me.
The moon shed tears.
The gentle breeze became the west wind.
The thunderstorm screamed with me.
The lightning seared the dark night.
Human hearts did not care.
They laughed at my distress
Amassing wealth using my helplessness.
I almost smiled listening to their sounds of pleasure.
Almost.
Because, Death will extinguish one day
All of my tears and all of their laughter.
I could not smile though.
Because, no one helped me.
Our death will not change the truth.
Even our Creator became blind to all the wrongs.
I had prayers, but, no one to pray to.
No one helped…

'In Words' by Bithi
Words are the instruments of creation for the writers.
They live and die in them.
Thanks
Bithi
In the forest of words
I get lost.
In the sea of words
I drown.
In the colors of words
I dream.
In the world of words
I live.
In the absence of words
I die.

'I Could Not' by Bithi
Life is so hard sometimes. Still, we love her...sometimes :)
Thanks
Bithi
If I want,
I can touch the sky.
But, my affection for the earth
Is so much that
Even if I wanted to
I could not leave her.

'Dancing in the Rain' by Bithi
Rain has the best rhythm for dancing.
Staying drenched in rain too long is not healthy, though.
Thanks
Bithi
It’s raining outside.
I’m in my room,
Listening to a song about the rain.
I remember, when I was younger,
I used to dance in the rain.
Raindrops would fall
In my face, like a caress.
My heart would fill
With joy and peace.
Mom would scold me
If I’d sneeze afterward.
I’d retort that
It’s worth it.
Nowadays, I forget
Even to see the rain.
But, today, the music of the rain
Invites me to dance again.
So, I’m dancing in the rain.
And it feels like I’ve never stopped.

'A Question' by Bithi
All the children in the world do not have a happy childhood. A sad reality of life.
Thanks
Bithi
Can I ask you a question?
Why do you say – “I want my childhood back”?
What is so desirable about the childhood?
I want to grow up as soon as possible.
Because, I can’t stay,
Another day,
With an empty stomach.
I don’t want the police,
To wake me up at midnight,
For sleeping on the footpath.
I don’t want to freeze to the bones,
And see the shops
Full of winter clothes.
But, do you know,
What I want more
Than foods, a bed and clothes?
I want to smile,
At least for a day,
Like that boy who is smiling,
On the park swing,
With his parents
Who won’t let him fall.
